Eva Bondar has been teaching Pilates mat classes in Maui, Hawaii since January 2003. She was inspired to teach others after experiencing the rehabilitative effects of Pilates first hand after a car accident in 2002.
Eva studied dance professionally at Broadway Dance Center in NYC with Frank Hatchett, Sheila Brown, Finus Jhung, and Madame Darvache. Before teaching Pilates, Eva worked in the fitness industry teaching low impact aerobics and strength training as well as dance to children.
After being certified by the AFAA, she taught at various locations throughout the island of Maui including The Maui Prince Hotel, Kaunoa Senior Center, and Haleakala Waldorf School. She currently teaches workshops at the Maui Community College in Kahului and The Studio Maui in Haiku, and ongoing classes at the Kenolio Recreational Center in Kihei for the County of Maui Community Service Program.
Eva takes from her personal experience to teach others how to heal their injuries and lead a healthy, active lifestyle.
